Sun sign snippets and computerized internet reports have dissected astrology into a jumble of key words and stereotypes that can leave us rolling our eyes, yet the accessibility of these methods often make them the doorway through which most people enter the world of astrology. How do we get past the memorization of personality traits into real meaning? This lecture will illustrate how to take common stereotypes and coax the meaning out of them; how to find the core meaning (the roots) instead of the disconnected jumble of behavioral stereotypes (the branches). Understanding the root is the core to astrology as choice within destiny.
Class description: In this workshop I discussed the developmental cycle of a human life through the lens of astrology. While participants were presented with the astrological phenomenon behind these events, I aimed to primarily illuminate the critical times in one's life so that one can actively participate in creating one's life according to one's desires. You will gain a deeper insight about these pivotal times in your life that have passed, as well as learn about the milestones ahead of you and how to really do them right, to fulfill the purpose.

Class description: Join me for a dive into lunacy! We will talk about the moon in folklore, in personal experience, and the astrological perspective: both your natal and progressed moon. I will be introducing a simple way to keep your emotional needs more in the forefront of your mind as well as recognizing just how very much our attitude shapes our lives, our decisions, and our interpretation of experiences. The natal and progressed moon can tell you not only what you fundamentally need in the way of self-nurture, but also how your heart and spirit are evolving and how to honor your changing self. This knowledge can help you embrace that process instead of fighting your needs or feeling foolish or irritated by them (making you a lunatic!). This workshop will include practical, daily ways to tune into your evolving emotional needs that are specific to you and the emotional cycle you are currently going through.
